Cilj fiskalnog izravnanja je ujednačavanje fiskalnih kapaciteta
jedinica lokalne i područne samouprave. Fond fiskalnog izravnanja financira se dnevnim uplatama 17% prikupljenog poreza na dohodak. Na račun ovog zakonskog rješenja Vlade RH proračun Grada Ogulina veći je za 11 milijuna kuna u 2018., odnosno gotovo 12 milijuna kuna u 2019. godini. I u 2020. godini predviđen je gotovo identičan iznos.

Više puta upozorio sam na nužnost što hitnije realizacije projekta zaštite Ogulina od poplave. Apelirao sam i na Vladu RH, premijera i Hrvatske vode – da ovaj projekt ne ostane samo mrtvo slovo na papiru. Što se tiče samog Projekta zaštite od poplava Grada Ogulina, u studenom prošle godine proveden je postupak izrade i usklađivanja prijavnog paketa dokumenata, te je u rujnu ove, 2019. godine, ishođen COMPLETION NOTE, od konzultanata za EU projekte.
Projektna prijava je prihvaćena od strane Upravljačkog tijela, Ministarstva regionalnog razvoja i fondova EU dana 31.10.2019. i u tijeku je unos projektne prijave u sustav eFondovi.
Po zaprimljenoj i prihvaćenoj prijavi, Ministarstvo zaštite okoliša i energetike donosi Odluku o financiranju iz fondova Europske unije projekta “Zaštita od poplava grada Ogulina”. Po donošenju predmetne Odluke, priprema se i potpisuje Ugovor o dodjeli bespovratnih sredstava. Ovim će se projektom povećati stupanj sigurnosti grada Ogulina od redovitih poplava“.
Izgradnja Retencije Ogulin predviđena je u 4 faze.

Što se suradnje s Hrvatskim vodama tiče, mogu reći da je s moje strane ona vrlo dobra. Naglasio bih da je Retencija projekt koji provode Hrvatske vode i da sam do sada uvijek dobivao odgovore na sva pitanja. Uostalom, i vama su koliko sam čitao na vašem blogu Ogulin u srcu, ljudi iz Hrvatskih voda davali tražene podatke. Osobito bih tu pohvalio direktora Đurokovića, ali i ministra Ćorića koji je na raspolaganju od 0 do 24. Uostalom, i ovi podaci o dosad učinjenom i planovima za budućnost dovoljno govore sami za sebe.
