Još jednom su, vrijedni članovi Skijaškog kluba Ogulin, pokazali na djelu kako se uz mnogo truda, rada i ljubavi prema sportu, mnogo može učiniti. Otvoreno prvenstvo Ogulina u veleslalomu (21. 1. 2017. ), okupilo je velik broj Ogulinaca koji su tijekom cijelog dana pohodili skijašku stazu Kuti, u Vučićima.
Natjecalo se oko 70 skijaša, raznih kategorija – od onih najmlađih, do veterana. Sve je bilo besprijekorno organizirano-od izvrsno uređene staze, raglasa i HGGS-a, do ugostiteljske ponude. I ono najljepše - sve je bilo besplatno – grah, kuhano vino, čaj. Ne samo za natjecatelje, već i za sve gledatelje. Pa gdje to ima. A lovu za to, osigurali su mnogi Ogulinci svojim dobrovoljnim prilozima. Tako se na ovom primjeru pokazala jedna zgodna sinergija dečki iz kluba i građana koji su prepoznali njihov rad. Najljepše od svega je to, što natjecanje nije zezno svojim prisutstvom, ni jedan političar. I za čudo - nikome nisu manjkali.
Jedini problem, koji je za ovo skijalište nerješiv, bio je parkirni prostor. Mnogi su na skijalište, usprkos molbama da to ne čine, dolazili svojim automobilima, tako da su sva dvorišta u Vučićima služila kao priručna parkirališta.
