Radnici „Gavana“ nakon što su probili put od rampe u Hreljinu do Kostelićevog mlina, počeli su s betoniranjem temelja za, kako se stručno zove, preljevnu građevinu, ili da pojednostavim – buduću branu.

Nakon što su u projektu izvršena sitnije dopune, sve je predano u Ministarstvo graditeljstva, koje će, rečeno je, u kratkom roku izdati dozvolu. Međutim taj „kratki“ rok protegnuo se na više od dva mjeseca, a od dozvole, još uvijek ništa. Bez redovitog pritiska prema Hrvatskim vodama, bez redovitih kontakata gotovo na dnevnoj bazi, bez presinga od strane Grada, bez stalnog putovanja u Zagreb kao što je to činio „škartirani“ ex direktor ViK-a, bojim se da ćemo tu dozvolu za daljnje radove, uz loše gradske odnose s Hrvatskim vodama, još dugo čekati. Što je razlog te sporosti, možemo samo nagađati. I u slučaju da konačno dobijemo tu dozvolu, slijedi natječaj za izvođača radova, što baš i inače ne ide najbrže, i gdje se, bojim se, mogu pojaviti dodatni problemi.
K'o što vidite – delka se, delka. Ali bili bi sretniji kada bi to išlo „zericu“ brže. Jer ja sam, kaj i mnogi drugi, od ti poplavi već benast. I ako ćemo pravo priznat, da ni prije nis bil baš pametan.
