Imao sam, a i sada imam nekih problema sa tehnikom, pa kasnim s objavom. Ali za lijepe stvari, nikada nije kasno.

Iza vrijednih članica udruge Katarine Josipdol, koja uz domaće snage okuplja i žena iz Oštarije, Skradnika, Modruša, Cerovnika, Vojnovca, Tounja, Plaškog i Ogulina, još je jedna, kažu i najuspješnija, „Seoska olimpijada“.

Specifična je po tome, što je muškarcima zabranjen nastup. Mogu sudjelovati samo kao gledatelji ili navijači.

Sudjelovalo je 13 ekipa iz Karlovačke županije, ali i iz Vinkovaca, Vodica, Kaštela, Vukovara.

Puno zabave i smijeha, obilježilo je ovu manifestaciju, koja je proteklog vikenda doživjela svoje osmo izdanje. Osim zabave, cilj je ove manifestacije, da promiče kulturne vrijednosti ovoga kraja i vraća uspomenu na davno zaboravljene vještine.

Po prvi puta, na Seoskoj olimpijadi nastupila je i ekipa Karlovačkke županije, na čelu sa županicom Martina Furdek Hajdin, koja nije skrivala svoje oduševljenje:

„Žmikale smo, trčale u vrećama, pilile drva, vukle uže... baš smo uživale ! Ima kod nas i onog natjecateljskog duha, pa se možemo pohvaliti i osvojenim trećim mjestom. Čestitke svim divnim ženama, iz cijele RH koje su bile u Josipdolu".

Natjecalo se u 10 disciplina:

ručno pilanje drveta sažagom, nošenja ampera na glavi, rušenje na gredi, skakanje u vrećama, potezanje užeta, štafeta parova zavezanih za noge, slalom u tačkama, kamena s ramena, skok u dalj, žmikanje.

Članice udruge, uz svesrdnu pomoć muške radne snage, za ovu su prigodu, maštovito i lijepo uredile svoje mjesto.

Danas bez Štilovke ništa. A prije se ovako mučilo sa žagom.

Za ovu prigodu, vrijedne članica udruga Katarine Josipdol, uz pomoć muških snaha, lijepo i ukusno uredi središte mjesta.

K'o Plenki i Zoki na brvnu. Ki će koga.Odnosno, ka će ku.

Ne kaj su cure zgodne, nego su i jake.

Svitak na glavu, kabal na njega, i po vodu. Toga se dobro sjećam.
