TIJELOVO U OGULINU 2018.

Katolički blagdan Tijelovo, odnosno u dužoj verziji Svetkovina Presvetog Tijela i Krvi Kristove, koji se danas slavi, ima vrlo neobičnu povijest.

Ideja o blagdanu prvi put se javlja 1209. na inicijativu augustinske redovnice sv. Julijane iz samostana kod Liegea u Belgiji koja je imala viđenje punog Mjeseca s mrljom na površini. Puni Mjesec protumačila je kao Crkvu, a mrlju kao upozorenje na nedostatak blagdana kojim bi se slavila euharistija odnosno sakrament koji je Krist utemeljio na posljednjoj večeri rekavši da kruh predstavlja njegovo tijelo, a vino njegovu krv.

Na molbu Julijane mjesni je biskup Robert u svojoj biskupiji uspostavio blagdan, koji se na početku zvao blagdan euharistije. Belgijska redovnica i njeni suvremenici zdušno su promicali ideju blagdana i nastojali ga proširiti na cijelu Crkvu. Papa Urban IV. objavio je 1264. godine bulu kojom je to pokušao učiniti, no spriječila ga je brza smrt. Tek u 14. stoljeću, papa Ivan XXII. širi Tijelovo na cijelu Rimokatoličku Crkvu, odnosno na zapadno kršćanstvo. Tijelovo je blagdan kojim se slavi euharistija i misterij pretvorbe kruha i vina u Kristovo tijelo i krv. Tijelovo se slavi u četvrtak poslije Presvetog Trojstva, dakle, deveti četvrtak nakon Uskrsa.

I danas je crkva Sv. Križa bila premalena da primi velik broj vjernika koji su došli na svetu Misu, koju je predvodio ogulinski župnik Josip Štefančić. Neka više o svemu govore slike s procesije gradskim ulicama.
